DJ Manaia is part of a group we've come to know through Trouble and Bass called Zombies For Money.  He's recently done a few solo releases, one for My Techno Weighs A Ton and this one right here.  The Bairro EP is absolutely huge and as bonus includes a remix by one of our favorite new producers King Kong.

The design was created by our good friend Pedro Pinto aka Dupplo, half of Voxels...

Ear cannot respond to all frequencies in an unbiased manner. Audible range of human being is commonly quoted as from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, which in fact will vary with age, health, past exposure to noises, and so forth. Ear also acts like a filter and will favour certain frequencies over the others. Ear is most sensitive to sounds at the range of 1,000 to 5,000 Hz, and particularly at about 4,000 Hz.

A new project for autoKratz dancefloor bombs.

The bastard offspring of autoKratz’ collaboration with Primal Scream and New Order was somewhat of a child prodigy. Self Help For Beginners scored international success and many ‘album of the month’ accolades. But since then, their schizophrenic tendencies kicked back in, and the unquenchable thirst for making banging electronics returned. This has given birth to Heart Attack Man and Sucker Sirens; two tracks that embody the reason why they started making music.

They spent the summer immersed in vintage CJ Bolland, the shreds of tape that Attaque had left on the Bad Life studio floor and enough pills to fuel the Berghain for a full week. It inspired autoKratz to propel themselves back to the vanguard of future techno.

So here is “autoKratz presents Bad Life #1”, the first in a string of EP's of formidable battle weapons for the dancefloor with big remixes to come from Tai, Lazy Ants & more.

Edu K was honored by being the one track chosen from the Don Rimini’s compilation to be premiered on RCRD LBL and also it’s gonna be out on Beatport jan 17th. Now it’s official: It can be fun on the dark side. You just gotta turn on the discolights.

No Brainer Records’ third release sees Klipar, who is one half of Zombies For Money (Trouble & Bass), push the Vader to the floor. In his version of the ‘Imperial March’ you can practically hear all the sun Klipar gets living in beautiful Lisbon, Portugal.
It’s scary how much fun a march can be.

As an alternative the originals ‘Do the Darthman’ -approach, Myd (Club Cheval) delivers a truely cinematic booty shaker, adding melodies that John Williams would have loved to come up with, but didn’t. You can close your mouth now, John.

But wait, maybe leave it open for just a bit longer. Until you’ve heard the remix of Australians Lewis CanCut (Scattermusic). A true Major Vader. Who would expect the ‘Imperial March’ to be the perfect soundtrack for your next limbo dance contest.
John? Anybody ?

Anyhow. The dark side wouldn’t be the dark side if we wouldn’t deliver some really dark mixes. Gingy (This Is Music) goes deep and techs the march up, giving us a dramatic ‘Battle For Endor’ remix, which causes serious damage all around.
No shit. Battles tend to do that.

Where Gingy goes battle, Sharkslayer (Top Billin) go war! Their Demon Dub is a mean thing. Sounding like R2D2 getting eaten alive by hoards of beasts so dark,
i can’t even see them. So how should I be able to tell you what they look like? Well, whenever kids come up to me nowadays and ask me for my opinion on what I think would be an appropriate tune to lose ones hearing over.

Drop Top is a project started in 2008 by portuguese DJs/producers ALiF and C-Netik, focusing on a dancefloor-oriented electronic blend of heavyweight basslines and engaging rhythms of all sorts.

After several hyped original tracks and remix work for other artists, as well as performances alongside international talent such as The Crookers, Blatta & Inesha, B Rich and more, the duo is now widely recognized as a major player in the Portugal dance scene, energizing dancefloors on a regular basis. In early 2010 they were awarded in the dance music segment of MySpace Portugal and Vodafone Ones to Watch, obtaining more projection within this popular social network.

The project is an active part of the recently formed Kali Records label, which had the Triple Play EP as its debut release. The imprint will continue to release quality dancefloor bass music from all over, with artists like Foamo, Malente, Zombies For Money, DJ Ride, Zeder and more already on board.

British-German DJ/producer Lars Moston is a solo artist as well as one half of Moston & Malente and one third of The Killergroove Formula. He lives in Berlin.
Moston & Malente have been big in the game ever since their first release "In the Sky" on Hamburg-based Moonbootique Rec. became a club hit that earned them no.4 in the German Club Chart (DCC), world-wide compilation deals and video airplay on music television. 2008 saw the release of their massively popular singles “F*cked Up” and “Do The Right Thing” on Splank! Rec. from Manchester.

A string of releases has built Lars Moston’s reputation as a solo artist lately, with support coming from the likes of Shir Khan, Yuksek, Jaimie Fanatic, Azzido da Bass, Etienne de Crecy and Congorock.

Alongside Swiss producer Philipe de Boyar, Lars has found a new home on Lee Mortimer's Wearhouse imprint. Their summer anthem "So Sick" is getting played by the airwave biggies Radio One and Kiss100 and is ripping up festivals across the planet as we speak.

Lars Moston also loves remixing and has recently been doing so to great acclaim, on his own, with Malente, or with new production partner Duncan Whiteley.

When DJing, Lars mixes up unique, energetic sets made up of bass-heavy House and jackin Electro, lots of unreleased material and his own edits. Sometimes crazy, sometimes tough, sometimes funky but always rocking, Lars’s sets are raising roofs all over the place and he has headlined gigs from San Francisco to Siberia with his positive, in-your-face electronic party sound.

GunRose is the most recent alter ego of Nuno Rosa a long time dj with a story that begun in the middle of the 90's. Along the years Rosa has shown his versatility not only as as a dj but also as producer.

This man is also resident dj at the famous Lux Club in Lisbon since 1999 where he shared the cabin both with Boys Noize, Erol Alkan, Tiga, Digitalism, DJ Hell, Les Petit Pilous, Alex Gopher, Zero Cash, 2 many Dj's... yes too many names to put them all here.

GunRose is a mixture of technical skill and experience with the sonic rebellion in electronic music of today. Fuelled by the good bits of techno, house and electro, he takes a visceral approach to both his productions as well as his sets and the prove of that is this release that we bring to you.
