BIZT .pt
This is the fifth chapter of BREAKS lda. Records. And for this release we say hello to BIZT, one of the most prolific Lisbon producers. BIZT draws influence from Breakbeat, UK funky, Bass and Afrobeat, which he infuses with plenty of bass. He specialises in eardrum-rattling beats, and has played alongside names like Buraka Som Sistema, Branko, Girl Unit, Zombies For Money, Klipar, King Kong, Voxels, DJ Ride, Octapush, DJ Glue, T.Williams, Martelo, Roses Gabor, Captain Steel, Diamond Bass, and Mensah aka New York Transit Authority. Already with several releases in labels like Enchufada, Wobble Records, Tunacat Records, Circus Maximus, Movon Records and Absolut Freak Records.
"With" starts with his characteristic kind of beat & breaks and after that you will be hooked by the vocals blended with deep basslines e fx's. Simple but very effective.
For the first remix we called Fábio Fernandes aka Mould, label manager/A&R for Con+ainer and Tiefblau Recs., that slowed the beats for a perfect house fusion of beats and vocals. The second remix shows Nsekt, a producer from Lisbon Badmood Collective, adding some rawness to the original.
