Setembro de 2011 ficou marcado pelo lançamento do álbum “Tuga Breakz” pela dupla BeatBombers (DJ Ride & Stereossauro), com o selo da Rockit. Trata-se do primeiro vinil de scratch dos Beatbombers, composto por doze faixas, onde são misturadas raízes portuguesas, com vários instrumentais, samples, frases, entre outras ferramentas. Um disco que funciona, também, como uma scratch tool indispensável a qualquer DJ, matéria prima para as suas produções ou sets para campeonatos e battles.

Beatbombers is a portuguese duo composed by DJ Ride and Stereossauro. They are masters of Breaks… From Funk to Drum ‘n Bass they cross Jazz, Hip-Hop, Dub, Soul, Glitch and Electro! Being vice champions of 2010 World Turntublism Championship in the Show class you can imagine how brilliant they can be!
They go back in portuguese music vault and bring to live again the Salada de Frutas 1981's classic: "Robot". From the Eighties sound to a glorious dance-oriented dubstep. Go check it...

"As producers of electronic music, anything that might involve shooting under water, vintage footage, science fiction and surrealistic images is truly inspiring. When we saw the work of Jean Painlevé for the first time, the click was immediate. In a natural way, ideas for sonic textures and paths that we thought were unexplored. The journey that we propose is strongly inspired by electronic music of the 1960s and 1970s mixed with contemporary elements. We use a lot of analog equipment in our songwriting and tape recording, as well as vintage synthesizers and samples from vinyl records taken from rare Library Music. In our live shows, we take part of our studio onto the stage along with our main instruments, the MPC and the record player." Beatbombers
