| António Guimarães (Passos Manuel) | Bruno de Sá Correia | Daniel Silva | Eduardo Maltez | João Moreira (John Beijo) | Nuno Pinto (Twin Turbo/ Megabass) | Pedro Araújo (Café Au Lait) | Pedro Pinto (Twin Turbo / Megabass) | Rui Maia (Mirror People) | Sara Costa (Fabulosa Marquise) | Sarah Monteiro Domingues (Café Au Lait) | Sérgio Gomes (BREAKS lda./Megabass) | Simão Bolívar (Cinbol) | Tiago Lessa (Hardquarters)

Joyce Muniz
Exploited/Man Recordings

JOYCE MUNIZ | CARNAVAL MIXTAPE 2011

JOYCE MUNIZ .br/at
Man Recordings/Exploited/Top Billin

“Another year passed, back again in cold freezing Vienna while my friends in Brasil already prepare for Carnival. I do get a lot of inspriation from listening to traditional Brasilian Music. Therefore, the next installment for my Carnival mixtape for Discobelle focusses more on the old Brasil stuff. I was lucky enough to spend my entire last 3 days with this mix listening to tons of old Brasil Vinyl records putting them all back into my latop. This is not only Tropical – this here is the original Brasil shit!!” (Joyce Muniz)

SABO & DAVE NADA | FREE EP

SABO & DAVE NADA .us
Sol Selectas

2010 has been another busy year for dance music and, as per usual, a whole new crop of subgenres has entered the lexicon. But perhaps none has been more unexpected than moombahton, the loping Latin sound that Dave Nada stumbled upon by slowing down Dutch house tracks to reggaeton tempo. In the span of just a few months, the sound has exploded across the globe, and while Dave Nada - who also spends time as one-half of Nadastrom - remains the de facto moombahton king, NYC DJ/producer Sabo has emerged as the movement's clear number two. To celebrate all this moombahton mayhem, Dave Nada and Sabo have also teamed up to release the Moombahton Massive EP. You can listen to and download the entire six-track release for free. The “Gostoso EP” is Daniel Haaksman second release and is another take on his love for the mad beats from Rio. This EP is less focused on the MC but more on a heavy beat tip.

Daniel Haaksman started a new mixtape series at Man Recordings. Every two months, the series will present the mixing skills and favourite picks from artists of the Man Rec Crüe.
As every gentleman´s motto is “Ladies first”, here´s the Man Rec Mixtape #1 by Joyce Muniz: It´s full of new and unreleased tropical heat from Solo to Riva Starr, Man Rec classics re-edited, to new baile bangers and house shakers - a mix perfect to grind your sun tanned bodies at the pool.
